Union County Leadership Institute

The Union County Leadership Institute offers professionals an experience of hands-on education and networking through a 10-month program. During this period, students are exposed to issues impacting Union County, frequent contact with influential business and community leaders, networking with peers, and the development of leadership skills. Graduates emerge with high standards of personal quality and integrity, respect, responsibility, reliability and a sincere interest in community issues. Young Entrepreneurs Academy 

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a groundbreaking and exciting year long class that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Throughout the class, students develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors, and actually launch and run their own real, legal, fully formed companies and social movements. Complete with dynamic guest speakers from the local business community and exciting behind-the-scenes trips to local companies, the fun, projects-based YEA! approach empowers students to take charge of their futures in a profound way. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Columbus Internships
Columbus Internships is a program of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and connects local college students with regional employers for internship opportunities.

Diversity and Inclusion Technology Internship Program

The Diversity and Inclusion Technology Internship Program is available to companies interested in college students that can provide a young and diverse talent pool. Employers can be reimbursed up to two-thirds of internship wages.

Ohio Export Internship Program
The Ohio Export Internship Program is designed to match businesses with highly motivated students from Ohio universities and colleges who have taken export-focused coursework. Employers can be reimbursed up to 50% of internship expenses.

Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership - High School Internship Program

The Ohio MEP - High School Internship Program is available to manufacturing companies interested in establishing an internship program for high school students. Employers can be reimbursed up to $1,500 of internship expenses.

Marysville Early College High School & Ohio Hi-Point Career Internship Program

The Marysville Early College High School is searching for internships and job shadowing experiences for junior year students. Students will be requested to secure an internship/shadowing experience that matches a business related to their interest and career pathway. Students will apply for internship opportunities in January. The approximate length of an internship would be for one semester for around 60 hours. North Union High School Internship Program

Businesses interested in establishing an internship, job shadow, or mentoring program within the North Union Local School District may contact Janel Chapman via email.

Tolles Career & Technical Center Internship Program

Businesses interested in establishing an internship, job shadow, or mentoring program within the Tolles CTC District (Fairbanks, Jonathan Alder, Dublin, Hilliard school districts) may contact Steve Cawley via email

MORPC Local Government Internship Program

MORPC is a voluntary association of approximately 60 Central Ohio governments and regional organizations that envisions and embraces innovative directions in transportation, energy and air quality, data and mapping, land use, planning and the environment, legislative advocacy, and economic prosperity.
