EMPOWERING UNION COUNTY'S WORKFORCE
BUSINESS/INDUSTRY
Our goal is to provide our employers with a highly trained workforce that will enable them to achieve success for decades to come. A number of programs, resources, and training opportunities are available.
Building Supports for Successful Transitions Into the Workforce: In 2017, the Committee for Economic Development (CED) embarked upon a national “listening tour” of business leaders and parents to discuss firsthand information about workplace demands and aspirations for high school graduates. This listening tour included a stop in Marysville/Union County. Click here to download the report.
EDUCATION
& K-12 DISTRICTS
No community can maintain long-term economic success without a highly-skilled workforce. That is why providing educational opportunities for our residents is a top priority. Each of the K-12 districts serving Union County commonly achieves high ratings from the Ohio Department of Education, making our K-12 system among the best in the Columbus Region and Ohio. The success of our K-12 districts is further complemented by the Marysville Early College High School, and three career and technical schools: Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Tri-Rivers Career Center, and Tolles Career & Technical Center.
INCUMBENT WORKERS
Whether you are in between jobs, or looking to find a career, Union County currently has a number of employment opportunities available. There are also plenty of options to brush up on your skills or earn a degree from some of the finest institutions in Ohio.
